Studying Abroad
The University of Padua offers several mobility opportunities that allow students to complete part of their study programme abroad.
Erasmus+ is the main European mobility programme. It allows students to spend a study period abroad (from 2 to 12 months) at partner universities in different European and non-European countries. Further information is available on the Erasmus page (https://www.unipd.it/en/erasmus-studies-out).
T.I.M.E. (Top International Managers in Engineering) is a programme for students enrolled in a Master's degree in Engineering. It allows students to spend a significant part of their studies abroad at selected European partner Universities (at least three semesters abroad and at least one semester at the University of Padua). The programme leads to the award of a double Master's degree, issued by both the University of Padua and the host institution.
Participation in the programme requires an extension of the study period by at least one semester and the completion of 60 additional ECTS credits compared to the standard Master's degree programme. Upon successful completion, students receive a double diploma and are included among TIME graduates.
Further information and calls for applications are available on the University website.
The Ulisse programme enables students to spend a study, or thesis research period abroad at partner Universities in other continents (Africa, America, Asia, Oceania).
The recognition of the activities carried out abroad is ensured by the Learning Agreement approved before the student's departure and possibly updated during the mobility period.
