Abstract del progetto

The project activities are aimed at the development of a modular structure portable cable system for easy wearing on arms and legs in motor assistance application, especially for exercises motors in elderly users and for rehabilitation therapies. Project activities scheduled in work packages coordinated will include phases of four months each for the examination of the project requirements and the functional characteristics, also with laboratory and field experiences; for the definition of a innovative design solution with versatile and modular functionality with easy portable structure wearing and adequately sensorized also for remote monitoring, including analysis of performance; for the construction of a demonstration prototype of the project and experimental validation tests e functional characterization. Expected results can be summarized for the dissemination activities in terms of publications in conference journals with presentations, patent applications and submissions and demonstration of results to potential stakeholders; for research activities in the definition of characteristics of structural and functional design, conception of a new solution, design of a system modular, construction of a comma laboratory prototype and initial validation and characterization texts functional. The activities will be carried out in synergy with continuous coordination by the two units at Tor Vergata University and at the University of Padua in the following work packages (WP) with coordination by one of the two units:

WP1 for the coordination and dissemination of results (Tor Vergata);

WP2 for design and functional requirements with experimental characterizations (Padua); WP3 for the design and numerical characterization of performances (Tor Vergata); WP4 for prototyping and experimentation (Padua). The project units will be composed of researchers in the scientific, technological, engineering and medical fields with the acquisition of temporary staff.
